What PSI Should ‘Your’ Car Tyres Be?

PSI or ‘pounds per square inch’ is the numerical value that denotes the air pressure in the tyres of a vehicle. As a general rule, many, if not most vehicles’ operating manuals recommend tyre pressure between 31 to 35 PSI for optimum mileage, long life, and stability even at high speeds.

However, the above doesn’t always hold true, and it would be a good idea to go through your vehicle’s handbook prior to refilling the air in the tyres of your vehicle. In fact, with so many different types of vehicles both on and off the road along with a myriad different tyre options, your car’s handbook would be the best guide for refilling the tyre with the required tyre pressure.
